Nimrods Computer Services was founded by Tim Brimelow on January 15, 2009. His goal is to make computer use simple, safe and enjoyable for all users. Tim visualised a great mass of people who did not access to the high degree of support that large corporations have and concluded there must be a demand for support work in the home and small business marketplace.
Four products were developed to provide everyday users with the facilities that large corporations use: - the Shield Defence System, Spitfire Maintenance Services, HotRod Special fast desktop computers and Intel Servers and Workstations. The Shield Defence System was developed to protect users, especially those who were now networking their many computers at home and connecting them to the internet, from both external and internal abuse. Then the Spitfire Maintenance Service was created with the specific function to prevent users experiencing broken computers; this proactive service anticipated machine breakdown and thus made break/fix less likely to occur. HotRod Specials were developed so that all users could take advantage of the fast componentary that is now available and Intel Servers and Workstations was offered to small businesses who had outgrown theire peer based networked computer system and required something more powerful and sophisticated to conduct their everyday business activities.
